Today, I'm going to Terengganu Airport..
Alone with Eagle 150 B..
Amazing rite..
Who can believe this aircraft going to Terengganu..
The other aircraft flyers such as Piper and Diamond like in a dream when we as Eagle flyer going to bring this "bottle with a wing" as far as to terengganu..
And plus go there solo and alone..
But before that we have to go fly with instructor..
And then we go there alone..
Early in the morning, I start the aircraft and call ATC for start up..
Me : Kota Bharu Ground, APAC 2161 Assalamualaikum..
Ground : Waalaikumussalam APAC 2161, Ground go ahead..
Me : APAC 2161 request startup for Navex as perflight plan, POB 01, Endurance 0330 in 9M-BDR copied information Alpha..
Ground : APAC 2161, Start Approve..
After run-up..
Me : APAC 2161 request ATC..
Ground : APAC 2161 ATC clear to leave KB control zone enroute to Terengganu as perflight plan 5000ft squawk 5400
Me : Clear to leave KB control zone enroute to Terengganu as perflight plan 5000ft squawk 5400 APAC 2161..
Ground : APAC 2161, ATC read back correct and taxi to holcing point Charlie, contact Tower..
Me : Taxi holding point Charlie and contact Tower APAC 2161..
My journey now begin..
At holding point Charlie on Tower frequency..
Aftre line up..
Me :Tower APAC 2161 ready..
Tower : APAC 2161, 1000 ft initially right turn clear for take-off..
Me : 1000 ft initially, right turn clear for take-off, APAC 2161..
Airbone n at 500 ft turn right heading to first reporting point, Peringat..
Maintain 1000 ft..
Peringat is a medium town and bla bla bla..
Once overhead, turn to next heading, towards Tanah Merah..
Before reaching Tanah Merah, the ATC advice me something..
I thought it just an advice that para jump performing their exercise..
But actuall the ATC advice me to change my original route to a new route..
I only realise after overhead Tanah Merah..
Me : Tower APAC 2161 overhead Tanah Merah this time, maintaining 5000ft, Tok Balik past the hour..
Tower : APAC 2161, negative proceed to Tok Balim due to para jump, divert to Kuala Krai after that to Bandar Permaisuri..
Me : Roger that sir, will divert to Kuala Kraio and then Bandar Permaisuri, standby for estimate Kuala Krai..
Oh, no..
I have to change my routing..
Instead proceed to Tok Bali, I have to go to Kuala Krai..
I never been to Kuala Krai before..
Only on ground..
Alhamdulillah, I manage to reach Kuala Krai..
The weather is nice also at the reporting point..
After report Kuala Krai, next reporting point is Bandar Permaisuri..
From far, I can see high mountain in front of me..
A got a doubt..
Is it I can pass the mountain??
From the map, its only about 4000ft and I was maintaining 5000ft..
For sure I can go thru..
But, sometimes we have to be safe..
So I request climb to 6000ft..
Maintaining 6000ft..
Masya Allah..
The scenery is so beautiful..
I cross the high mountain..
Before this I have to look up to see the mountain..
Now I look down to see the high mountain..
Amazing rite..
Overhead Bandar Permaisuri, KB tower assign me to Terengganu Tower..
Establish contact..
Me : Terengganu Tower this is APAC 2161 Assalamualaikum and how do u read..
Tower : Waalaikumussalam APAC 2161, Terengganu Tower read u strength go ahead..
Me : APAC 2161 release by KB Tower, Overhead Bandar Permaisuri this time maintaining 6000ft, Batu Rakit 30, POB 1, Endurance 0230 in 9M-BDV, Squawking 5400..
Tower : APAC 2161 clear to enter Terengganu control zone, descent 2500, runway 04, QNH 1008, report again Batu Rakit..
Me : Clear to enter Terengganu control zone, descent 2500ft, runway 04, QNH 1008, report again Batu Rakit, APAC 2161..
Approaching Batu Rakit, I can see Terengganu airport..
The aerodrome is bigger than KB..
The runway is longer, B747 can land on the runway..
Runway in use is runway 04..
Overhead Batu Rakit the tower instruct me to descent 1000ft and join left hand downwind runway 04..
My intention to make 1 touch n go and then enroute back to KB..
After touch n go I request ATC..
Tower : APAC 2161, clear to leave Terengganu control zone enroute to Kota Bharu as per flight plan via Penarek, 5000ft squawk 5400..
Me : Clear to leave Terengganu control zone enroute to Kota Bharu as perflight plan via Penarek 5000ft squawk 5400..
Now my routing..
WMKN - Penarek - Pulau Perhentian - Bachok - WMKC..
The exercise same all the way..
After Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu Tower release me to Kota Bharu..
The radio call almost the same..
And, land at Kota Bharu safely..
Alhamdulillah..
This is my last Navex on PPL stage..
Pray to Allah that I will have the change to go for Navex again on my CPL stage..
